"I love my lessons with Carolyn. I have always found it very hard to walk straight, and my bad posture was regularly noted by friends and family. I have been doing yoga for over ten years to help improve my posture, but I found that after leaving a class, my I would go back to my poor posture in my day to day activities. Carolyn uses the Alexander Technique to train the body in everyday scenarios. I often used to tense up my back and shoulders in order to 'stand straight', but Carolyn has taught me techniques where I feel no tension in my back. She taught me how to perform everyday tasks, such as how to bend down and interact with my daughter, without straining or arching my back.
